Bathinda, May 8: An advanced specialty clinic for diabetes and endocrinology was launched at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Bathinda on Monday.The clinic will offer a range of advanced specialty services, including hormone, diabetes, and obesity treatment, all under one roof.
It will be run by Dr. Sushil Kotru, associate director and head department of diabetes and endocrinology and his team.
The specialty clinic will operate with specific services available on each day of the week. On Monday, the clinic will offer services for thyroid disease and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). On Tuesday it will focus on obesity/weight loss and fatty liver disease screening (NA). FLD). The services for men's health and secretary disorders, as well as diabetes kidney disease screening will be offered on Wednesday.
On Thursdays the clinic will cater to gestational diabetes and type 1 diabetes, while Fridays will focus on postmenopausal and osteoporosis clinics.
Patients will not only receive medical check-ups but will also be provided with awareness health talks on prevention by the specialist.
The routine diabetes OPD will be open from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, with additional services such as the diabetes and endocrine clinic, diabetes foot clinic, diet clinic and diabetes fundus screening clinic available.
Dr. Sushil Kotru said that the hospital's other auxiliary departments, such as the department of women's diseases, bones, stomach diseases, physiotherapy, kidney diseases, ophthalmology and skin diseases will also be available to patients.
The modern facilities will ensure that patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment.
