Arrest of accused in different cases

In a major breakthrough, teams led by SHO, PS-31, SHO, PS-Maloya and SHO, PS-39 were formed under the close supervision of Sh. Devinder Kumar Sharma, CPS, DSP-DCC, SDPO-South(officiating charge) and SDPO-South West (officiating charge) have arrested the following accused persons and cases of attempt to commit robbery/snatching/theft/rioting/attempt to murder have been solved with the arrest of accused in different cases of their respective Police Stations. The arrested persons are:

1. Accused Sukhpreet @ Preet S/o Bhadar Singh R/o #Village-Fathawa , Block Majri PS-Majri Distt Mohlai PB Age 23 Yrs. arrested in case FIR No 88/2022 U/s 379A,34 added 411 IPC, PS-Maloya, Chandigarh from near Satsang Bhawan, Maloya, Chandigarh and recovered snatched mobile and motorcycle used in crime from his possession. 

2. Accused Shubham @Tedi S/o Munish R/o #843, Phase-1, Ram Darbar,age-21 years and accused Gurmeet Singh S/o Harbhajan Singh R/o #934, Phase-1, Ram Darbar, age-23 years arrested in case FIR no.132 dt.22.08.2022 u/s 380, 457 IPC added 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh and recovered robber ornaments..

3. Accused Govinda S/o Ganesh R/o #738, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh,age-20 years arrested in case FIR no.133, dt.24.08.2022 u/s 393 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh(previous cases are 1. case FIR no.257 dt.14.09.2016 u/s 457, 380 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh, 2. Case FIR no.255 dt.09.10.2019 u/s 380, 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh, 3. Case FIR no187, dt.16.06.2017 .380, 457, 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh, 4. Case FIR no.189, dt.17.06.2017 u/s 380, 457, 411 IPC , PS-31, Chandigarh, 5. Case FIR no.313, dt.05.10.2017 u/s 457, 380 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh, 6. Case FIR no.57 dt.13.02.2019 u/s 319, 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh).

4. Accused Rohit S/o Balbir Singh R/o #1041, Phase-1, Ram Darbar,age-21 years, accused Saurabh S/o Raghbir Singh R/o #784, Phase-1 Ram Darbar,age-19 years arrested in case FIR no.129, dt17.08.2022 U/s 380, added 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh and recovered stolen mobile.

5. Accused Rajkumar @ Nanha S/o Lt. Lal Singh R/o # 5746 Maloya Colony UT Chd. Age 28 Yrs. arrested in case FIR No 147-2021 U/s 380,34,411 IPC, PS-Maloya, Chandigarh from  near house no.5746, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh and recovered theft articles i.e.  Aluminium and Iron scrap from his possession.

6. Accused  Monu @Ganja S/o Raj Tej R/o #6453A, Sec-56, Chandigarh, age-21 years, Accused  Sonu S/o Raj Tej R/o #6453A, Sec-56, Chandigarh, age-21 years and Accused Raj Kumar@Chiku S/o Raj Tej R/o #6453A, Sec-56, Chandigarh, age-21 years arrested in Case FIR no.126, dt. 13.08.2022 u/s 341, 323, 34 added 307 IPC, PS-39, Chandigarh.

7. Accused Rishi S/o Lt. Jagdish R/o # 2805 D.M.C  UT Chd. Age 34 Yrs., Accused Mukkadar S/o Lt. Jagdish R/o # 2779, DMC UT Chd. Age 33 Yrs.  and  Accused Kavil @ Kavi S/o Mukkadar R/o # 2779, DMC UT Chd. Age 18 Yrs. arrested in case FIR No 107/2022 U/s 147,149,324,341,506 IPC added 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Kmanidar Knife used to commit the present crime by accused Kavil@Kavi recovered from his possession.
