Chandigarh, May 29, 2022: The Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyunkt) President and former MP of Rajya Sabha, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa visited integrated multispecialty hospital - Hospital & Institute of Integrated Medical Sciences (HIIMS) for a medical checkup at Dera Bassi near Chandigarh.
86 years old, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa who has been suffering from several health problems -fatigue, back pain, leg pain and right-hand joint problems went to the hospital to seek medical attention. Notably, Dhindsa sought the Ayuveda help after learning about the HIIMS from a lot of people, who has received tremendous health benefits, Dhindsa told.
Dhindsa discussed his prolonged health problems with Dr. Amar Singh Azad and renowned Ayurveda and Meditation Guru Acharya Manish who are also the founders of HIIMS hospital.
Ayurveda and Meditation Guru Acharya, Guru Acharya Manish said, “After screening the tests, Dr Azad and I have initiated Mr Dhindsa’s treatment and gave him medicines, suggesting the bed rest till further treatment. Special care would be provided to 86 years old leader with a holistic approach to get him benefits at the mental (manas) and physical (kaya) levels.”
During the medical consultation with doctors, he was apprised about Ayurveda and HIIMS hospital that it provides cure based on a judicious combination of different medical systems like Ayurveda, allopathy, and naturopathy etc under one roof.
Learning the facts, Dhindsa assured Guru Manish of all possible help to promote Ayurveda among the people of Punjab so that more would take benefit of it in their lives.
It’s noteworthy that HIIMS, an integrated multi-speciality hospital, is the first hospital in India 'with a focus on Ayurveda' to get the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers).
