Chandigarh, July 26, 2021: A well-known name in the circle of writers and professors, Narinder Jit Kaur has carved a niche for herself for writing prose that is precise and nuanced, in a style that is perspicuous and eloquent. So, in her latest literary marvel, Dawn to Dusk, she has compiled her Middle Articles that have been published in some of the prominent newspapers of the region including The Tribune and Hindustan Times. The book was released in a virtual session here today.
These representative stories, which are the outcome of the basic human impulse to give meaning to one's experience and to share it with others, deal with the quintessential ethos of the social milieu that Kaur comes from. About the Author: Narinder Jit Kaur is a retired Associate Professor of English, based in Patiala. She has taught in different government colleges of Punjab for 31 years before retiring from Government Mohindra College, Patiala.
Kaur is a trilingual writer who can write with fair ease and finesse in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Her articles, stories, and poems in all three languages are regularly published in various newspapers and magazines. She is a prolific translator who has translated five books from Punjabi to English, which include three novels, and two collections of stories; picking up some of the best literary works in order to provide a larger readership to the regional literature and taking Punjabi literary culture to places.
