Zirakpur, April 23, 2021Students from Panjab University (PU) and Punjab Engineering College (PEC) volunteered at the world book day celebration orgaised by the Ashish Mittal Foundation (AMF) held with the rural children of Mubarakpur.
Ashish Mittal, founder of AMF said that the children learnt about the story of Warren Buffett, life cycle of a butterfly and moral stories to inspire book reading. The aim of the programme was to encourage reading habits and schooling.
Some volunteers connected online and all the requied COVID 19 norms were followed during the activities. AMF has promised to launch a small community library for rural children soon in the village itself.
